President’s Message:  July 2026

Following a stellar year where our chapter earned the “Elm” (highest) level of distinction from the Penn State Alumni Association, we look forward to continuing to support football watch parties at our new location—Greene Turtle, Columbia—a local restaurant that will be supporting our scholarship award by remitting to our chapter 20% of our members’ food/beverage receipts, several charitable endeavors (THON, The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys For Tots, Maryland’s Special Olympics’ Polar Bear Plunge), a need-based student scholarship award, happy hours, local sporting events, and an August freshman sendoff. In addition, we hope to bring some new offerings this coming year, and we’re open to suggestions from all members!

The new membership year begins July 1, so for those of you who aren’t lifetime members, feel free to contact the PSAA here to renew!  There are no longer additional local chapter dues, so your PSAA membership allows you to participate in almost all Penn State Central Maryland chapter events! We also invite non-members to join us so they can continue to enjoy their Penn State experience with like-minded local alums!

So come join us at any of our upcoming events.  We look forward to meeting you!

WE ARE!
